Turkey-Free Cat Foods

Turkey allergy is rarely documented in cats on its own; most turkey-reactive cats are poultry-reactive cats whose trouble started with chicken, the protein in more than half of all cat foods. An honest turkey-free list therefore cannot stop at the word turkey: poultry meal, poultry fat and poultry broth name no bird and could be turkey as easily as chicken.

The foods below are screened for turkey, turkey liver, giblets and broth, and for every unnamed poultry ingredient, the same standard our chicken pages apply. "Chicken and turkey" blends exclude themselves by their own label.
